“So he arose and went. And behold, a man of Ethiopia, a eunuch of great authority UNDER Candace the queen of the Ethiopians, who had charge of all her treasury, and had come to Jerusalem to worship.” Acts 8:27 [emphasis mine]

“For I also am a man placed UNDER authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.” Luke 7:8 [emphasis mine]

Hmm…I have been thinking. I pray that you will start to think after you have finished reading this message, as it’s going to revolutionise your being and change your warfare.

Are you under authority?

Please, who authorised you to do the things you are doing or did in the past?

Each time I see a panel set up in any nation inclusion UN to deal with atrocities or misconducts in business, politics, etc up to government level, one thing that dominates the question time was this word – AUTHORISATION. Wars are fought on authority that has been given not because you have the power to fight. The ‘authorisation’ is the word for accountability.

Who SENT you? “Who authorised you to do what you did?”

The word ‘authorise’ means ‘to give power or permission to (someone or something)’. Even though you have the POWER because of your office, but who authorised you to carry out what you did. To assume use of your power without authorisation is an abuse of power. The military police with a weapon in their hands have to be authorised to use their weapon.

Now as believers in Jesus, ask yourself this same question, “Who authorised you to do what you did or doing?”

I know you have the money (power) to do it but were you authorised to spend that money on those projects? I know you have the anointing but were you authorised to get involved with that warfare knowing not all battles are for you?

I know you have the congregation and the clout but were you authorised to lead your congregation in that warfare fasting and prayer? Joshua wanted to fast and pray to God when Israel was defeated at Ai but God said NO! (Joshua 7:10-11).

No wonder you see some of our brethren looking sickly and roughly beaten up with life because they have been dragged into warfare they were not equipped for nor authorised by the Holy Ghost to go into. After all David, a fighter did not assume God was in each battle but he enquired from God whether to pursue and recover and was told he would but also that he would overtake his enemies. (1 Samuel 30:7-8)

For those of you serving under your Senior Pastor, yes you have been ordained for the ministry of your Covering House but NOT yet your own nor another man’s ministry. Not yet in your own has the Lord released you. If you are not faithful in another man’s work how can God give you your own? You are an ordained Minister to serve in your local church.

Therefore who authorised you to preach on another man’s pulpit without the knowledge or authorised by the Set Leader of your house? Someone laid hands on you in your church, isn’t it?

If the Secretary of State for the USA or the UK goes to another nation to speak, he or she had better be authorised by the government of his or her nation to do so. If an issue arises, the question from their nation/government would be, “Who authorised you to go?”

Conclusion, please be careful of deceptive spirit operating in this last days. Just because you have the title or anointing does not mean you’re authorised. Power is different from Authority.

  • The authority of the Scripture is the priority as God has highly magnified His word above His name.
  • Authority of God to the Set Leader – Please make sure you are authorised to do what you’re doing in your church and through your church.
  • Authority of God through the Set Leader – Oh please be permitted first before endangering the lives of those that Jesus died for.

Lives are at stake if you’re not permitted! It has nothing to do with anointing. As a matter of fact, anointing works perfectly when you’re under authority.

Let’s shut the door against deception and pride. Too many have become casualties unnecessarily.
