LEARN MORE ABOUT OUR HOTRIC COMMUNITY
Our children ministry is a place where warriors and leaders are raised to affect their community. We strongly believe that children are important in the great commission as they can be used by the Lord to reach their generation. At HOTRIC Children department, our children are not just members. They are relevant and valued.
They are important part of our church family hence the spiritual investment NOW. Each class is equipped with trained and qualified teachers and the department is headed by Minister Gbemi Odusanwo. She is a qualified Montessori trained teacher, Children Evangelism Ministry trained and home education trained.
We have learnt to take hospitality to the next level! Church need not be a boring place to be for our guests. Not only will they bless us spiritually but we will see to it that all our guests are cared for also. 1 Kings 10:4-5.
We believe that marriage is honourable among all and our covenant vows should be honoured hence we organise couples day yearly to meet to renew our vows and to support each other along the way.
This is a ministry for husband and wife married according to our biblical belief and confession of faith.
We hold COUPLES DAY last Saturday of the month of OCTOBER each year.
We believe marriage is an institution ordained by God and we meet to encourage one another on how to excel in our relationship.
We renew our vows yearly and gather to learn how to enjoy our marriage according to the word of God.
Singleness is a gift with the grace of God to see you through it. Just because you are single does not mean you should not enjoy your life.
SINGLES AND ACTIVELY LIVING TODAY – S.A.L.T
This is for those who are not married but are singles.
Singles: Marriage does not complete you. Learn how to be fulfilled and complete in Christ before you say “I Do”
Single Parents: Your present condition is not a barrier against you enjoying the very life Jesus died for you to enjoy abundantly.
The prayer ministry of our church is the birthing stool of dreams and visions.
It is a place where decrees are made to establish and enforce the will of our God over the will of men.
“This is the confidence we have in Him that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us and if we know that He hears us, whatever we asks, we know that we have the petitions that we asked of Him.” 1 John 5:14-15,
“Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints” Ephesians 6:18.
As Christians, we acknowledge that everything we give to God (money, time, life, gifts, talents etc) come from God. All except one thing – our Worship!
As a worshiping church, this team is at the forefront in leading the House in the area of Praise and Worship. More than singing, more than music, more than lyrics, the team’s objective is to lead us corporately in a time of praise, dancing, clapping, thanksgiving and intimate worship before our King.
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!
Our outreach department is involved in different missions within the local community as well as in various countries of the world.
A key focus of the work in the UK is the HOTRIC Charity Shop located on Tower Bridge Road London where people from all sections of the community come to purchase clothes and shoes at a considerable discount and enjoy an atmosphere of spiritual relaxation.
We are also directly involved in international missions. We send our members to serve as missionaries in the nations as we have networks of ministries in and around the world.
We have regular baptism services for believers that have made a commitment to continue in their walk with the Lord. This normally takes place after a class that teaches what baptism is and what is expected afterwards.
This is a vital part of our church family and we delight in welcoming you to the House of the Lord where dreams and visions become reality.
“For a day in your courts is far better than a thousand, I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than to dwell in the tents of the wickedness” Psalm 84:10.
As our name indicates, we are a very hard working and dedicated team. We are first in and last out of the building, ensuring good sound output for all services, but that’s not all we do.
We also control video and lighting effects during services and are responsible for the projection screens and for ensuring Praise & Worship verses as well as Scriptural verses are projected unto the screens.
This is the ministry that reaches out to women of all denominations across the land. We believe that women are ministers to be encouraged and challenged to reach their destiny in Christ. At W.O.F.I we are equipped to do so.
The fellowship is also a place where you will come to know the potentials in you. God has placed a well in you that is waiting to be exposed to the world around you.
Remember sisters, you are a well full of water, that someone is waiting to drink from.
We believe that men are ordained to be Prophet, Priest and King in their homes and our mission as a church is to equip our men to function in this role as ordained by God.
To become A MAN OF GOD we believe is a process hence the fellowship is established to be a place of making a man of God.
Men fellowship is a mentoring ministry.
We believe and we declare over our men that “though their beginning was small, yet their latter end would increase abundantly” Job 8:7
The name of the Youth Ministry in HOTRIC is Youths of Vision. We have a vision for who we are in Christ.
We are a lighthouse, a city on a hill that cannot be hidden. Like Daniel we interpret the times and seasons by our reliance on the Holy Spirit. Like Joseph we pay the price for our convictions, we see far into the future and make no compromise or take no shortcuts for instant gain.
We have a vision of who we can and are to become. We navigate our lives in the light of the world, and invite others to join us on this faith walk.
Established in 2002 and is an extension of House on the Rock International Church. The vision of HOTRIC charity shop is to be a place where the community can purchase affordable clothes and shoes whilst also being a place of rest and relaxation.
The service is run through the efforts of a team of dedicated volunteers as well as the generosity of members of the community who donate clothes and shoes for sale. We have a range of sizes and styles to suit all tastes and there are always seasonal bargains to be had.
HOTRIC Charity Shop is dedicated to serving the community through its operations, creating a peaceful shopping experience. View Site
The Pastoral Department in HOTRIC is charged with the responsibility to provide pastoral care and counseling to members with the aim of bringing them to maturity in Christ in order that they may influence their communities.
It is our custom here at HOTRIC to set apart children unto the Lord. We do not baptise or christen children. Christian children, too young to be baptised, are dedicated to God. In the 19th chapter of Matthew’s Gospel, verses 13,14 and 15, we are told: “Then were there brought unto Him little children that He should put His hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said, ‘Suffer (which literally means to allow or to permit) little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for such is the Kingdom of heaven.’ And He laid His hands on them, and departed thence.” Jesus is not saying that the Kingdom of Heaven is populated only with little children.
What he is saying is that as a child is totally dependant upon his or her parents, we, as the children of God, should likewise be totally dependant upon our Heavenly Father. In keeping with these scriptures, HOTRIC dedicates or sets apart children unto the Lord. This is not just a ritual or something we consider clever to do. [Rather, we regard this ceremony as a commitment on the part of the adults presenting that they intend to raise these children up in the admonition of the Lord.
We consider it as act of obedience to the Word of God. The parents or guardians are informed that the act of dedication is of no value unless they themselves intend to live a lifestyle inline with the Word. Otherwise, the whole dedication presentation is meaningless. This normally takes place on the last Sunday of every month.
This provides the forum for members to be mentored in an environment of love and care. It is our vision to have fellowships around London for effective discipleship. Fellowship meets normally once a week for two hours.
We have a ministry team for home and hospital visits.
